We know most people are sensitive to the cost associated with hearing devices. We will discuss your specific needs with you during your appointment and work with you to select the best device options for your personal hearing needs and budget.
Most insurances, including Medicare, DO contribute toward the cost of a hearing test, although sometimes a co-pay or deductible may apply. On the other hand, most insurances DO NOT cover the cost of hearing devices. Some insurances will offer a benefit for hearing aids, meaning that they pay a portion of the cost, but not the entire expense. We always offer to check for hearing device benefits for our patients, and will call your insurance company for you, since these conversations about coverage can sometimes be confusing.
We accept most major insurances, and can help you with a flexible payment plan for any co-pay expenses you may incur. Some of the insurances for which we are providers include these:
- Geisinger Health Plan
- Capital Blue Cross
